    San Sebastian (in Basque Donostia, and officially Donostia-San Sebastian Sebastián) is a coastal city placed to the north of Spain, in the autonomous community of the Basque Country, being the capital of the historical territory of Guipuzcoa. His(her,your) population belongs 183.536 inhabitants (2006), and his(her,your) metropolitan area reaches the 248.502.

    His(Her,Your) principal economic activities are the trade and the tourism, constituting one of the most important tourist destinations(destinies) of Spain and of Europe. His(her,your) landscape dominated by the Bay of The Shell, as well as his(her,your) architectural modern development initiated in the second half of the 19th century, which formed a city of French and become bourgeois cut, they propitiated(caused) the development of the tourist activity to European scale. All this, joined international events as the International Festival of Cinema of San Sebastian, has given exterior(foreign) projection to the city, in spite of his(her,your) small dimensions.
